Recovery feels overwhelming because it is overwhelming

Self-recovery shouldn't feel this confusing:

Tools & workshops to guide your journey

You know you should work on your relationship with food...
but you keep putting it on the back burner.

For good reasons.

You don't really know where to start

You have some ideas from things you've seen online. But if you had to describe your recovery strategy, it'd be "throwing spaghetti on the wall and see what sticks"

You're drowning in conflicting advice.

One says honour all cravings. Another says count calories. You're told to listen to your body, but your body feels screams "no". You don't know who to trust or what actually works

And work with a dietitian feels too big a leap now

Maybe it's the money - thousands of dollars when you're even sure it'll work. Maybe you're not ready for the vulnerability of 1:1 support. Or maybe you just eant to try it yourself first.

And even when you DO try to self-recover, you end up more confused than when you started.

... But what if self-recovery didn't mean figuring it all out alone?

What if you had access to the same evidence-based frameworks professionals use - without the price tag?

What if you had clear, structured guidance that cut through all the noise and contradictions?

And what if you didn't need to spend hours scrolling through conflicting content to find credible information?

hey, I'm Malcolm!

I'm a Binge Eating Dietitian, Intuitive Eating Counsellor and Body Image Coach

I self-recovered from binge eating disorder. And I'm not going to sugarcoat it - it was really hard & confusing.

The only reason I made it through was because I was going through my dietetic & eating disorder training, and I could casually "ask for a friend" to my supervisor & psychologist friend when I got stuck.

But most people trying to recover on their own don't have that luxury.

  • They're drowning in contradictory Instagram posts with no way to know what's actually legitimate.

  • They're piecing together random advice that "sounds nice" with no clear framework.

  • They are spending hours consuming content but not actually moving forward.

And honestly? That's not fair!

I didn't recover because I'm special or more determined. I recovered because I had access to structured, evidence-based information.

You don't need a nutrition degree, psychologist friends or thousands of dollars to recovery. You just need a compassionate approach, the right information, organised in the right way.
